Heating Plates

PREMATHERM Heating Plates in accordance with the required heat capacities and individual measurements are available in C-steel or in various stainless steels.

These heating plates consist of two metal sheets that are interconnected by means of spot welding, thus forming one double-walled plate. These heating plates may be rolled in the factory according to the required diameters, and they may, in the process, also be fitted with the connectors for steam and condensates.

The main advantage of these heating plates is their easy assembly by means of strap retainers, so that no welding work is required; there is no external pressure on the container wall. Thus, technical approval by the German authorities is not necessary, nor is any technical surveillance required as it is for no-pressure containers, you have no product pollution, etc..

PREMATHERM Heating Plates provide optimum heat transfer; uneven surfaces are levelled out by means of our special Heat-conducting Cement in order to avoid any air gaps between the container wall and the heating plate.
