PREMAFLEX
Pinch Valves

Operation
By pressing additional compressed air or water into the Premaflex Pinch Valve casing, a special, highly elastic collar is compressed. This will close the collar and will absolutely block the stream of material, even if it contains pieces of solid material.
Due to the highly elastic collar, the valve's functionality will be maintained even with frequent switching. After switching off the control medium, the collar will automatically reopen on account
of its adaptive quality.
Resistance to chemicals (waste water, caustic and acid liquids), resistant to fire and temperatures from -20°C to +120°C (depending on the gasket material).
As an alternative to the valves operated by means of additional compressed air, we can also offer valves that are opened and closed manually.
Advantages
Light weight, offering a high degree of solidity, resistant to chemicals
High Service Reliability
The structure of this valve is simple throughout and ensures perfect closing and opening - even with media that contain a high proportion of solid materials and dirt. Since either compressed air or water are used as control media; these valves are therefore not dangerous and may even be installed in highly explosive systems.
Ideal under all Operating Conditions
Premaflex Pinch Valves may be used for dust, for pourable and pulpy media and also for liquid and gaseous materials. Due to the special structure of the gasket, a hose may be closed at an even level to the central axis. Tight closure is ensured, even with frequent opening and closing.
Advantage during Installation
The robust and compact structure permits installation under the most difficult conditions and with very limited space.
The highly elastic Gasket
will close absolutely tight, even with solid particles included in the medium and even with a very high number of switchings. This valve is available in various qualities depending on operating conditions.
Simple and inexpensive Replacement of the Gasket
Selecting the best suited material
Due to the respective operating conditions, specific qualities are required for the material. Various materials and sizes are available and may be combined with each other.
A large variety of materials, types of connections and gasket qualities offer a considerable range of applications.
