General Information
The development of the drive units for agitators pursuant to DIN 28130 Part 3 is based on long years of experience in the construction of drive units for the chemical industry.
Most of the components comply with the currently valid DIN Standards for the construction of agitators. It is considered most important that this product line provides a simple and quick method for the replacement of seals. The seals are usually replaced by means of a mechanical assembly device, carried out from the lantern so that a minimum of space and time are required.
The fixed and movable bearings of the agitator shaft are located in the lantern. Depending on the mixer variant, the drive bearing will also serve as a fixed bearing, or the movable bearing will be integrated into the sealing unit.
